MINNEAPOLIS, MN — A food truck driver was hospitalized Monday night after her truck was rear-ended by another vehicle in south Minneapolis, reports FOX9 KMSP.

Minneapolis fire officials say the crash impacted Antojitos Dona Lety, a food truck that was parked and operating on East Lake Street and 12th Avenue South, shortly before 6:30 p.m.

It is unclear what led up to the incident, but the truck caught fire after it was rear-ended by an another vehicle.

By the time police and fire crews arrived, all involved parties had been able to safely vacate the vehicles.

The driver of the food truck was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with minor injuries.

No further details have been provided at this time.
