CARVER COUNTY, MN — Three people were injured Tuesday night after a passenger car collided with a school bus near Norwood Young America, according to Bring Me The News.

Minnesota State Patrol said the accident happened at the intersection of County Road 31 and U.S. Highway 212 at around 7:50 p.m.

A school bus carrying a cross-county team was traveling north on CR-31 and was attempting to make a left turn onto the westbound lanes of US-212 when it was hit by an eastbound Cadillac.

The driver of the Cadillac, a 21-year-old Glencoe woman, suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to Hennepin County Medical Center.

According to Minnesota State Patrol, she died from her injuries Wednesday morning. The crash report indicates she was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

Two boys aged 12 and 14 who were passengers on the bus sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the bus was not reported injured.

No further information has been released at this time.
