About Michelle Gibbons
Michelle has a breadth of experience researching and writing about criminal and civil law topics, as well as litigating and obtaining favorable settlements in the civil arena. Michelle is passionate about using her skills and experience to fight for those whose legal rights have been infringed.
Michelle grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota. After high school, she attended the University of Minnesota where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in psychology and French in 2013. Michelle graduated magna cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2020. During law school, Michelle served as the Associate Editor in Chief of the Mitchell Hamline Law Review, clerked for the Honorable Robert Awsumb in the Ramsey County District Court handling felony cases, and researched personal injury topics for Professor Mike Steenson. She also performed extensive volunteer work, earning the Minnesota Justice Foundation 150+ hours of service certificate. After law school, Michelle represented employees in wrongful termination cases, then clerked for the Honorable Sarah I. Wheelock at the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
In her free time, Michelle enjoys reading, live music, cooking, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
