Super Lawyers magazine has recognized both Tom Sieben and Patrick Cotter: each has been selected for inclusion in the 2017 Minnesota Super Lawyers list. Patrick Cotter was selected to the Minnesota Rising Star list from 2005-06, and 2008-13. He has also been selected to the Minnesota Super Lawyer list from 2014-17. Additionally, Patrick has been selected to the Top 100 Minnesota Super Lawyers in 2016-2017.

It is no small feat to be recognized on either the Super Lawyers or Rising Stars list. Each year Super Lawyers recognizes no more than five-percent of attorneys in each state and Rising Stars recognizes no more than two-and-a-half percent. To be eligible for the Rising Stars list attorneys must be 40 years old or younger, or have been in practice for 10 years or less.
